![]() ![]() In 2020, I headed down to WINK-TV News in Southwest Florida. In addition to forecasting and tracking active weather there, I covered a "once in a generation" tornado outbreak in January 2022, along with Hurricane Ian which devastated the area and flooded our tv station with storm surge. There I covered multiple tornado outbreaks, winter weather, along with Hurricane Michael. My professional career began as a meteorology intern at WVUE (FOX 8) in New Orleans during high school and college, learning from legendary Meteorologists Bob Breck and David Bernard.Īfter graduating from college, I got my first job at WTVM in Columbus, GA. My lifelong passion for forecasting the tropics and severe weather, along with my fascination with climatology, led me to Mississippi State University to earn my meteorology degree. I want to use my knowledge and experience to keep this community prepared and informed during severe weather. ![]() Over the past decade, I’ve successfully covered and intercepted multiple tornado outbreaks along with Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Ida, and Ian. My strong passion in meteorology is focused in the tropics and severe weather. Growing up in New Orleans, big-ticket weather events including Hurricane Katrina fed into my curiosity and passion for weather. My hobbies include working out, volunteering through my church, reading, watching college football, finding new restaurants, and meeting every dog on the block! Texas is my home, and Dallas is my dream! Thank you, North Texas for welcoming me home with open arms.I’ve always loved the weather as long as I can remember. ![]() I was also able to experience "Texas" ice storms while in Waco, and let’s not forget about severe weather season! Waco was an incredible place to start my career.įast forward a little over a year, and in the Fall of 2018, I accepted a job at Fox 4 and was able to call Dallas my home…again! When the outer bands swept across central Texas, I was thrown into the fire…covering countless tornado warnings and overnight flooding threats for our southeastern counties. Less than two months after starting my job, Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast. My first job in May of 2017 took me to Waco, Texas where I worked as the weekend morning meteorologist. Oklahoma is the severe weather hub of the United States, and I was fortunate enough to learn how to forecast under extreme weather circumstances! I attended the University of Oklahoma (home of the National Weather Center and my favorite football team…), and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and minors in both Broadcast Meteorology and Mathematics. Viewers can catch me on Good Day Saturday and Good Day Sunday as the weekend morning meteorologist…bright and early! I am so fortunate to work alongside the number one weather team in DFW! I made sure that my parents and siblings knew our severe weather safety plan, even if the forecast called for a slight chance of rain. I would be glued to the T.V, with a weather radio in hand, just in case we lost power. Growing up in Flower Mound, I established a fascination with the broadcast meteorologists that we watched during severe weather outbreaks. Fast forward several years, and I have been given the opportunity to live out that dream in the city that I love most. Not only that, but I also told them that I was going to be a meteorologist in Dallas. When I was 8 years old, I told my parents that I wanted to be a meteorologist.
